Ashok Kumar Dugaputi is a seasoned startup advisor and VP of Engineering at Xactly Corp. He has been instrumental in building three successful startups – Host Analytics, Gainsight, and TopOPPS – from garage stage to world-class products with successful exits through acquisitions. With almost two decades of experience in highly scalable multi-tenant SaaS apps using polyglot data stores, he has worked on products on private and public cloud platforms. Ashok has led product engineering and management teams in India and the USA, ranging from 10 to 100 members. Currently, as the Head of Engineering at Xactly Forecasting, he is responsible for the overall engineering strategy and execution of the Xactly Forecasting product. Prior to his current role, Ashok served as the CTO and Head of Product at TopOPPS, which was later acquired by Xactly Corp. He has also served as a CX Program Advisory Board member at Missouri State University. Ashok holds an Advanced Diploma in Software from NIIT and an MBA in Finance from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Product Manager, making him a versatile leader. With almost 19 years of relevant experience, he has a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and the technical expertise to make products successful.
